About Us
Macaque Brain Resource (MacBrainResource) is currently comprised of seven collections that include slides, frozen tissue and EM blocks. These materials emanated over the years from the anatomical and physiological studies of Dr. Pasko Rakic and the late Dr. Goldman-Rakic of the Department of Neuroscience at Yale.
We have been funded by the NIMH (1RO1MH113257) to make these previously private collections freely available to the neuroscience community at large. Access to MacBrainResource is available on-site via arranged visit or through remote access of digitized images of slides.
